I haven't been doing nails lately since I found what I really wanted to do but am still changing my nails when needed... like once in 5 weeks. lol
I found that lots of people abroad are coming to read my blog nowadays. That's really nice to see and I am still going to update this blog sometimes for people who come back to see this blog.

Here are the latest nails of mine.

I kind of wanted spooky nails, but after I put everything that I wanted they were no longer spooky.

My nails before this looked like this.

After 5 weeks, my nails got tooooo long so I cut them really short so that I can actually sew stuff.(oh, sewing is my other hobby)

And here is another picture of my toe nails.
These should be filled right away now but I am so sad that I no longer be able to wear sandals.

Kitty Nails

It's been a while since I updated last time.
I've been busy with house work, being sick, doing SaSa stuff for the next event.
I am still recovering from cold but should be better by Saturday's event at the University.
If you are interested, here is the detail.

Marine Style

It looks like the Summer is finally here.
It's been hot (well, considered "hot" from people here) these days and I finally got to take my kids to spray parks and outside pools.

For nice hot days, you will want to get some summer style toes!
Her request was "Marine Style Nails" and she also wanted to have anchors on them.

What a perfect design for the summer beaches, heh?
She is actually going to the beach far away from here which is much nicer than the beaches here...the real beach.
Enjoy the nice sun and beaches with fun toes!

3D and Peacock Art

It's been a while but I've been testing and practicing a lot since I got new gels.
I've had some problems of lifting and shining but I think I solved most of that.
Of course everybody has different shaped and conditioned nails so it's very difficult to choose the right products.

I now carry several brand's gels for your convenience and preference.
And now another brand's gel is on my way here!
I really want to settle down on one or two lines of gels, but it's soooo difficult!
New products are always coming and they are getting better and better of course.
I think I will just keep testing and trying new stuff all the time and I think that is how the beauty industry (or any industry) works.

Customer's Nails

I did three customer's nails this weekend.
One was my regular customer and other two were from Yellowknife!
Thank you for choosing me. I had a great time.

Here is my regular customer's nails.
She liked her previous nails and she is going to attend her friend's wedding so she wanted a simple french like last time but different colored 3D flowers.

Here are the nails I did today.
She got extensions, blue gradation, glitters and crushed shells and 3D bow and a cupcake.
It was so much fun for me too especially the cupcake part :p
And look at her hands! Her fingers are really long and so as her nail beds.
I would definitely make her as my nail model if she lives close to me..

Here is the last customer's nails.

Her nail beds were long and healthy so they were easy to handle too :)

She chose a design from one of my Japanese nail magazines and she wanted them in fun colors so I helped her choose colors.

This kind of design is called "Pucci" which is from the designer Emilio Pucci.

I sneaked some hearts and flowers in the design.

She said earlier that she was a simple girl, but look at this! Totally fun this time!

I hope she is going to have fun with the nails.

Tripod

Hahaha, I finally got a tripod today.
It's called gorilla pod and you can secure it on handles, or fences, or anywhere that have something to hold on to.
It looks kind of like octopus.

So I took a picture of both of my hands in it.
I should have bought it earlier...
This one is going to be so handy!

My left hand nails and right hand ones are totally in different tastes though...
That's because I always need to practice and they are the instant advertisement to random people.
Cashiers at supermarket usually notice my nails :)
And also it's handy when the customers don't know what to get.

Marble Nails

Finally I tried some new gel I got the other day.
I changed designs a little bit.

The gel was easy to apply and I am so satisfied how they turned out!
I used marbling technique and left lots of clear gel part so they look cooler in summer.
I drew some marbled roses with white gel and of course a 3D rose in black.

Candy Nails

These cute little hands are 10 year old girl's.
She chose a bright pink glitters and blue and purple crushed shells to be embedded.
They kind of reminds me candies : they look so yummy!
Great choice!

Simple white french nails with popping arts!
Took these pictures at night but they sure will look prettier under the sun!

I tried some new gel and it worked pretty good.

Barbie Gel Toe

I changed the designs of my toes last night.
I call them Barbie Nails :)

Also, one of my customers came in for the repair.
She broke her index finger nail by accident, but only the free edge was gone and no bleeding or anything so it was a easy fix:)

Wedding Idea...Something Blue

Here are some wedding nail ideas.
I wanted to practice deep smile lines and for me, the white tip French nails reminds me of brides.
So I ended up creating wedding nails ^-^
I looove the character My melody, so I didn't want to remove her but after all it looked pretty old compared to the new nails.

I added some flowers under My melody, around the new growth area....meh, it's ok but not great.


How about....this? My melody again!
It's much better, isn't it?

hmm. I kind of like round shape now.

Black French with Glitter

These are the nails from last night.
Her previous gel nails were grown out badly, so I removed almost everything and redone her nails.
She likes simple nails and the color she chose yesterday was black.
I kind of recommended glitters or something fun for her and she decided she is going to try a new thing, which was glitter.

Aren't they pretty?
I hope she gets more brave and try different things next time:)

Today's Nail

Today, I had a customer for Gel toes.
She is going for a vacation soon so she got her toes done for it.
She also got her (hand)nails done last week. Thank you for admiring tOkO Nails!

Her favorite hot pink for the base and put on some small and medium sized glitters and then of course, 3D flowers:)
I always get compliments on 3D nails and people seems like they are really interested in getting them and I am so happy. I hope more people are interested in Japanese style nails:) That's my goal.

Pretty in Pink nails

Fill and design( color) changes.
Pale pink gradation with some small and medium sized gritters and 3D Sakura flowers on a couple of fingers.

Gradation Nails

Some idea for short nails.
Hot pink gradation and a couple of nails with flat pale pink for the base and different shapes of rhinestones. Gradation definitely makes short nails look longer.

They are suitable for everyday nails (not too crazy as my nails!) yet so unique.

And here is just additional flat art I did on her toes.
She wanted some accents on her thumbs so I added some flowers:) Even a little thing like this makes a big difference.

Gel Toes

Here are girly gel toes.
She didn't have any ideas what to get, so I decided the designs.
I matched pink with her bangs which was pretty bright pink.

Cherry
