Spring nails

Here are my friend's nails.
This pale blue is really cute.
I think I am going use this color for my nails next time I change designs.

Fill and a little design change

I went to the party at my friend's house on last Saturday.
My friend (and also my customer) wanted me to do fills and repair one of the nails because the gel peeled off as she tried so hard to open a box glued together really tight!

I showed up a little bit earlier to do her nails.
She saw my nails and wanted to try feather nails, so I put some feather and a little flat art flowers too so she is going to have something new to stare at for the next two or three weeks:)
Changing designs are always fun to do and feel so refreshing.

I didn't forget to take a picture of her nails after that.
Since the party was already started, I got to have a nice martini glass as an accent for this picture!

Hmm, yummy cocktail and nice nails:)

Gel toe

I haven't been wearing anything on my toe nails for a while, but finally I got some time to do nails today.
I didn't have enough time to do a complicated design, so here are my nice and simple toes!?!?!?

??? Not simple do you think?
I think it's simple:)
I just wanted to use black gel, and then white dots....hmmm, still too simple, so added glitter lines, 3D bows, and Swarovski crystals in the middle.

This is the second time I used LCN black gel, and I applied twice on each nails, but this product got to be applied three times otherwise the color shows up a little bit pale.
On the other hand, I am in love with Light Elegance glitter gels! They look so pretty, easy to apply, and contains plenty to glitters so it's nice and thick.

Anyway, I think I'm going with this toe nails for a while.
I don't know if it's only me or not, but once I apply nail polish or gel on my toe nails, they never worn out, no chips or anything!
How about you???

Favorite Leopard Pattern!

Again, here are my sis-in-law's hands.
Our favorite pattern, leopard!
This time, I sculpted her nails and extended a little bit of lengths.
I, personally like the shape of square off nails. They look awesome and easy to handle in a daily life.

Sheer beige gradation on the tip of the nails, painted leopard pattern with gel colors and then LE pink glitters ... what a nice combination!

3+ weeks Before and After Part2

Here is the after fills on my right hand.

Blue glitter gel is from Light Elegance and black gel is from LCN.
I really wanted the color of deep black (matte black?) but this was gray-ish black which I don't like...I don't mind coating the nails twice for the true color, but layering 3 coats? 4 coats? that's too much of time consuming and your nails get too thick.

On my ring nail, I put a Cherry blossom with LE 3D gel but it became flat. lol
I was going to put something on my pinky, but I didn't have any good idea..

Stay tuned for add-ons and leopard patterned nails!

3+ weeks Before and After

It's time for fills.
Here is my 3+ weeks old nails.
Can you see the new growth?

And here is after fills.
I wanted to change designs, so I kind of covered the previous designs with feathers.

I used real feathers and they gave my nails interesting looks.
It turned out too elegant and simple for me so I might want to add some embossed flowers and butterflies later.

Client's nails

It's been a while to do nails since my nails are still on my nails beautifully and I am not taking real clients yet. All of my clients are my friends as I haven't set my salon nor prices yet.

On Saturday, we did Sukiyaki party at my house and one of my friend was interested in gel and 3D nails.
We were all drinking so I couldn't remove all the cuticles (too afraid to use the sharp cuticle nipper..) but I believe I pushed all the cuticles away from the nail beds :P

She wanted to leave her nails short so I just shaped her nails and overlaid gel on top.
Brown glitter gradation and a little bit of bigger sparkles mixed together....put a couple of baby blue embossed flowers and rhinestones in the middle.
They looked really good on her and the flowers were nice spring touch.

I love how they turned out and I probably do something like this next time I do my nails.

I found that it's important to let the clients know what kind of products I am using for their nails and how to care your gel nails so I will soon update the care instructions and the difference between soak off gel, hard gel and acrylic nails.
