Summer Nails

Last Saturday, lovely two customers came to my salon:)
A mom and her daughter came here together to get their summer nails done.
They should be in Hawaii enjoying the sun and the beach right now.

Here is the mom's nails.
She had great healthy nails but some of the nails were shorter than the other so I extended a couple of nails.

And then blue glitters and crushed shells and 3D white flowers....Just like Hawaiian seas...
So gorgeous and glittery..almost like jewelry.
They must look great on sun tanned skin color.

And here is her daughter's pedi.
Classic French gel toe with her favorite color purple 3D flowers.
She was talking about getting fruity nails and "Hawaii" letters nails so I was preparing for that (lol) but she chose classy nails at the end.

These classy but cute nails fit very well on her though.
I hope she enjoys her nails and the trip to Hawaii.

Took me 3 hours to do everything (mom and daughter) just so you know the estimate time.

Thank you for coming and see you guys again after the trip:)

French Overlay

It's been three weeks since I changed my nail designs last time and 2 weeks since I got cold.
I am finally getting over my cold, so I changed the designs on my left hand.
I wanted to practice creating smile lines :)

Very simple French with roses on a nail. It would look perfect for weddings.
I like deep smile lines which I think nails look longer and skinnier.
And since my nails got long enough so no need to be extended anymore.

Sample price

French overlay $45
Flat art $3

My new gel toe and a little touch up

I put a whole new designs on my toe nails.
I wanted to try this new color that's called "Black cherry Brulee".
The color looks pretty white on this picture, but it actually looks like milky lavender.
Very pretty:)
Then I put a big bow on each thumb nail and 2 different kinds of glitters on the rest.

Other than I drew lines on back ground which made the bow not pop up like it supposed to, I really like them.
Especially these milky colors look very good on tanned skin color.

And also I changed designs a little bit on my index finger as remaining old gel started to yellow.
You can't really notice the color change, but when you compare to the nails that newly applied, you can see.
I think my right index finger was the oldest:P

More Deco Nails

My friend wanted to get some 3Ds after seeing my nails:)
Simple white French overlay ($45) with some different 3D charms ($3 and up/nail) on each nail.
Soooo cheerful and cute!
She is always seeking new looks and we went through my Japanese nail magazines and chose one by one.
She wanted her nails to be done in the same pattern this time but ended up having different pattern on each nail:)
We had so much fun talking and choosing designs though!

Blue soda gel toe and glittery gel nails

It was her second time to come and get her nails done.
Her request was the nails that look summery so I chose blue glitter gel for the base color and put some dots randomly so they look like soda bubbles.
They turned out so sparkly and cute.

For her hands, I also used blue glitter gel as well as pink, bigger glitters....
Some gel 3D arts and flat arts, feathers on thumbs....
She wanted different designs on each nails, so I used same color scheme to make them look balanced.

I had really good time with her.
Thanks for coming today!
